About Yuk Yuk's Toronto

Yuk Yuk's is Canada's best-known comedy club chain, and Toronto is where it started. Mark Breslin and Joel Axler began it in 1976 with Wednesday-night shows in the basement of the 519 Church Street Community Centre, then opened the first full-time club at 1280 Bay Street on March 14, 1978.

Yuk Yuk's now runs clubs across Canada. The Toronto club, in the Entertainment District, hosts Canadian headliners, themed showcases and its Tuesday Legendary Amateur Night.
